About Us

Currituck Resource Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization designed to offer the people of Currituck County resources and knowledge to enhance their lives. We are able to do this through the generosity of others. Because we are a non profit organization all who donate will receive a donation statement for their taxes. Thank you for helping us to help those in the community we live in.

What We Do


Community Helps

Our commitment as an active part of community life is to pay forward the encouragement of helps to those around us.

We have developed and continue to update a variety of connection points to assist Families and Individuals in a variety of life's challenges and seasons.

Our connection points include, but are not limited to:

  • Forgiveness

  • Grief

  • Suicide awareness

  • Budget/Estate planning

  • Building legacy

  • Communication

  • Coaching/Mentoring

  • Tutoring

  • Bulling

The above listed connection points are held in the following formats:

  • One Day Connection on one of the above subjects with material overview and practical helps and testimonies for your success. These connections often will not contain all the information needed but will give you the tools to complete the remainder of things on your own.

  • Four and Six week Connections held on a subject will be much more in depth and will give ample time to help each person understand how to apply the subject with confidence

  • Weekend Seminars. These seminars will be held with experts in the field of the subjects being covered. These seminars will have breakout sessions to help individuals understand and utilize the information given.



Our desire as an active part of community life is to partner with our local schools by providing encouragement to the teachers and staff.

We actively partner with our local schools by being a source of encouragement to the teachers and staff. We have had the opportunity to partner in many ways however our two primary ways of providing encouragement are through meals and school supplies.

Bringing Hope and Help


Currituck Resource Center is always looking for volunteers who desire to serve in all aspects of our vision.

Need Training? We are willing to do that as well. We hold regular times of training as needed to enhance and hone your skills to help encourage and build our community.

*Please note: some volunteer areas are conditional upon an application and a criminal back-ground check. These conditions apply when working with minors.
